Here's the steps how to do good job
1. Remove Old Paint
Making sure we are working with a clean smooth surface is important. Any old glaze or paint chips will be removed before we start any work on the tub.
2. Clean The Surface
Our professionals will clean the surface to ensure the new glaze can cure properly to the surface.
3. Remove Dirt
If necessary, we sand down the surface to get rid of any excess paint, dirt, or other small particles to ensure a smooth finish.
4. Clean The Surface
At this step, we clean the surface to remove any dust or paint that may have come off from the sanding or cleaning process.
5. Repair The Tub
On some tubs, it requires us to repair small chips or rust that can cause damage again.
6. Wipe The Surface
Once the above 5 steps are completed, we wipe the surface and start the process.
Bathtub Reglazing generally takes about 2-4 hours depending on the size of the tub and extent of the damage around the tub.
Once the process is complete, we recommend the surface not be touched, used, or cleaned for 24 hours.
